John 11:40 – Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

Lord God, as I stand on the edge of hardship and in the midst of terrible circumstances, it is hard to see your hand at work. It’s hard to marvel at your glory. It is even harder to wait for you to act. But Lord, you tell me again and again that you are working all things together for good. You tell me again and again that you are glorified in all things, even in what appears to be the darkest day. Grant me faith to look to you even on the darkest of days with trust and confident. Help me lift up eyes to you and wait for you to act. Help me to wait in hopeful expectation knowing that you will be glorified and that you will do what is good for me. Work for me. Work in me. Create a new heart of hope in me this day as I wait for you. Amen.
