"There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." - Luke 15:10

Dear Jesus, you said this when you had to defend yourself against criticism for sitting with those who had spent a lifetime hurting and rejecting others. Sometimes it seems to me to be such a huge waste of time to sit with people who have made such a huge mess out of their lives. But you press me into it because you and all the angels of heaven are wanting those souls to turn back and be saved. Help me to not keep thinking about how much they have offended me or others and to just focus on how badly you want them back in your fold. I want to learn to rejoice over a sinner saved more than sulk over the damage they have done. Help me Lord Jesus to deal with the Pharisee in my heart. AMEN

To forgive is to free both me and the one who has hurt me.
