Dear Jesus, patience is a virtue that does not come naturally. Ever since I was baby I have wanted what I wanted right now! I need your Holy Spirit and the insight he brings - that waiting on you to order my life is better than pushing everything and everyone to give me what I think I need right away. Help me to be patient from deep down in my heart. Help me to remember that the plans you worked out for people like Old Testament Joseph, David and Abraham were wonderful once they reached their completion. I want to be patient and loving while I wait for your plan to unfold. Give me that peace which makes me smile when frustrations come.
