Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. - Psalm 50:15

Dear God,

I need your help every hour of the day.  Many problems and challenges overwhelm me.  I am listening to your promise in this verse.  I am calling to you.  Please help me with the issues that loom large in my mind.  I cannot do this alone.  I am just a small, fallible, finite human being.  I believe you will deliver me in your way. Iā€™m not trying to give you any advice.  I'm just saying "Mayday!"  You take care of the rest.  Thanks, not just for being God, but for making yourself my God purely by grace.

Perilous is the person who has no God to ask for help.
