Psalm 89:14 – Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; faithful love and truth go before you.

Lord God, there is so much hurt in this world. There is so much that is wrong in this world. Justice sometimes seems to be turned on its head in some many instances. I just shake my head and think, “How is that just?” I often cry out, “God, why don’t you do something?” O God, it is your very nature to work justice. It isn’t just what you do; just is who you are. O God, bring it to pass. Don’t let evil have its way. Don’t let injustice triumph. Defend your people. Defend the innocent. Bring peace so that the gospel might spread and your kingdom may come to so many more people. This is your will. Make it happen, dear Lord. Amen.
