Lord Jesus, I am always amazed at the boldness with which the disciples went out as witnesses after the resurrection. Before they were scared and running away from the battle. After they rushed headlong into the battle with the gospel about you. They were not afraid because you were with them. In fact, Lord, you actually worked with them; they were partners with you in their gospel work. How cool is that!?! Lord Jesus, fill me with the same boldness with which you empowered them. Set me on my feet and send me running into the battle with the gospel of Jesus. Yes, Lord Jesus, come with me as I go with the gospel and work in me, with me and through me as I go into the world to do. Do not let my work for you go for nothing. Do not let it be in vain. Go with me and work with me as I do your work today. Amen.
