Lord of Life, It is our duty to give you thanks. We acknowledge our dependence on you as the source of all good things: For your grace and goodness, we give you thanks. For your Word that gives life and your works that sustain our life, we give you thanks. For faithful friends and the love of family who lighten our earthly journey, we give you thanks. For the joy of young children and the honor of old age, we give you thanks. Free us today from all complaint. Fill our hearts with contentment in every circumstance.
