“But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”  Jeremiah 17:7-8

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to bear fruit in my life whether I am in hard times or good.  I know that there is no way I can persistently bear fruit unless I remain close to you and your Word.  Otherwise, my problems overwhelm me and I become parched, dry and useless to everyone.  Fill my mind with your words and nourish my soul inside, so that, whenever I experience trouble it cannot drain all of my emotional and physical strength. I trust you because you are my God and Savior.  You have taught me to trust that you are always working good for me in everything.  Thank you for the challenges I face and for the Word of your Spirit that enables me to meet them with a cheerful heart. AMEN
