But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. Dear heavenly Father,

Today I am not only thankful that you are so patient with me but also that you are patient with all those I love and hold dear who have wandered away from you. I know that you are patient with the whole world and that makes me trust your love even more. Make me patient like you so I am there for everyone no matter how far they have fallen.

Patience is the first leaf sprouting out of mercy.
