Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. - Psalm 107:8-9

Dear Jesus, you have shown love for me by giving me life and salvation, friends that many people long for but never seem to get, family that loves and respects me even though they really, really, know me and my scruples, and work that allows me to have an impact for good in society. Protect me from the insatiable appetite for more that prevents me from finding contentment in what you graciously give.  Oh Jesus, give me the secret of contentment by allowing me to want what I have and not have all I want.  Be the Savior of my attitude as well as my soul.  And then, as a changed person, make me generous like you.   AMEN

Contentment is a God given state of mind that is unaffected by any circumstances.
