The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments. - Habakkuk 3:19

Dear Jesus, I have seen deer jump this way and that to get up narrow winding mountain paths along cliffs.  It is amazing to watch. It is just as amazing to think of all the ways you have brought me through the narrowest escapes.  In my car, battling health problems, even at sporting events, you have rescued me from near death experiences. Each time it happens, I think of how you must love me.  You will make my feet like that of a deer.  It is a very comforting thought.  I trust you today, tomorrow, and beyond to protect my life until my job is done here on earth. Thank you for giving me peace the world cannot produce. AMEN

God never stops looking into our crib to see that we are breathing.
